You can quote up to 30 days in advance of the expected policy effective date.

Eligible Properties: One-to-four-unit residential structures.

Ineligible Properties:

• Properties with more than one flood loss in the past 10 years.
• Properties with unrepaired flood damage.
• Properties designated by FEMA as Severe Repetitive Loss properties.
• Properties in violation of State or local floodplain management regulations (Section 1316).

Loan Closing: 0-day wait if insurance is required as part of a loan by a federally regulated mortgage company or licensed mortgage broker. Evidence of closing and lender’s purchase requirement must be provided if a loss occurs within the first 30 days.

Policy Renewal: 0-day wait if replacing an existing flood policy at renewal. The new policy becomes effective on the expiration date of the existing policy, provided the bind request, state packet, and full premium payment are received prior to expiration.

Other Reasons for Insurance: 7-day wait from the date the payment/bind order is received.

Are there any additional taxes and/or fees?
Yes, taxes and fees for the policyholder’s state are automatically calculated as part of the quote and can be found on the premium breakdown on the quote page.

The policy period is one year (12 months).
