  • Properties in violation of State or local floodplain management regulations (Section 1316).

What are the maximum coverage limits of an Amwins Flood policy?

What is the waiting period for an Amwins Flood policy?

Loan Closing: 0-day wait if insurance is required as part of a loan by a federally regulated mortgage company or licensed mortgage broker. Evidence of closing and lender’s purchase requirement must be provided if a loss occurs within the first 30 days.

Policy Renewal: 0-day wait if replacing an existing flood policy at renewal. The new policy becomes effective on the expiration date of the existing policy, provided the bind request, state packet, and full premium payment are received prior to expiration.

Other Reasons for Insurance: 7-day wait from the date the payment/bind order is received.
